  • GoPay

GoPay is another popular e-wallet in Indonesia. It provides e-wallet services within the Gojek super app and allows the user to access many services, including ride-hailing,  food delivery, etc.

  • ShopeePay

ShopeePay is integrated with the Shopee ecommerce store. It is commonly used by users as it facilitates the payment process while shopping through Shopee.

  • QRIS

QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard) is a national standard payment method developed by Bank Indonesia. It is a QR code-based payment method that allows users to easily make payments through QRIS-enabled e-wallet or bank applications by scanning the QR Code.

  • BNPL 

BNPL Indonesia (Buy Now, Pay Later) has become very popular ever since its launch in the country. It is one of the fastest-growing BNPL markets in Southeast Asia. It allows users to easily manage their payments through installments. Users are very satisfied with BNPL and appreciate its ease of payment method.

The GMV value of BNPL has increased from 1% (in 2019) to 6% (by 2025) and is expected to reach $8.59 billion by the end of this year. BNPL is expected to rise in future, making around $13.59 billion by  2030.

  • Bank Transfer

Bank Transfer is one of the most efficient and secure systems used for payments in Indonesia. The 2025 Payment System Blueprint allows users to make digital payments using banks. It also allows users without a card or e-wallet to make digital payments through banks.
